I'm in serious need of a break. Habs feel the same way now that they've clinched their spot to the dance.
Today's game was just one long practice done at half speed. Kind of 60 minutes of toying around with the Sens. Sens thought they were out for reals, Habs were like "whatevs".
Too bad they dressed the goons. It pisses me off that there are probably a good handful of guys sitting in Bingo that could have Lessard's roster spot instead. Earlier in the game Andrei had a guy lined up for a hit, but he saw the numbers and aborted his attempt. Lessard saw Pyatt's numbers as he gathered the puck and was ready to protect it and drilled his head into the boards. Lucky for Pyatt he's made of strong stuff. He had his League-designated timeout and came back. Lessard should have a timeout for life. And of course Chris Neil bringing the douche. I thought it was an automatic penalty for throwing a hit on an icing call?
Thankfully no one was injured and Spacek's return was actually surprisingly good. Gio got his team leading 27th goal. Cammy tied it up with 10 seconds left (one more goal for 20) after Auld was pulled for the extra man and they stopped trying so hard to get PK his Guy Lapointe record. Pretty goal by Bobby Butler. Shit goal by shitty Kuba ended it in OT.
With the point, Habs can't fall lower than 7th since the Rangers just shot themselves in the foot getting shutout by the Thrashers of all teams.
One more game left to survive. Where has the season gone? Seems like it was only yesterday Carey Price was telling the freaks to chill.
