Method to the Madness: A Complete Translation

Richard Labbé of LaPresse seemed to be the only reporter interested in asking Colin Campbell for his 2-cents at the General Managers Kumbaya and ended up with a buck-fifty on the mind behind our hockey league's disciplinarian. (Spoilers: dumb as a cinder block). Since it's only available en français, I'm posting a translation of a few key points to show he feels about "the little faker" Pacioretty in light of nearly being paralyzed by a "hockey play".

Translation: What the fuck are you guys doing taking this game so seriously? You're supposed to just sit in your seats and shut up like the great fans of the Atlanta Thrashers then give us all your money on overpriced apparel. Don't you know Rule 48? We can't suspend Chara because he didn't blindside him, he only rammed his head into a stanchion. Pacioretty totally knew this was going to happen.

Translation: Every GM agrees with the ruling because if they don't they get fined. Oh except that Ray Shero guy. What the fuck does he know? Darcy Regier and Jim Rutherford also just fucked their their teams over. We're trying to make our sport as safe as possible and to determine when a player goes too far but we obviously fail at this. And hey, Paciowhateverhisnameis is a fucking Hab so fuck him.

Commissioner Bettman also weighed in.

Translation: It's the only way the Bruins can win games. Collie's boy's gonna get a Cup regardless of how many players they maim. I gotta live up to my shiny new contract they gave me. In the meantime, why don't you hire Nerf to retrofit your rink?

All in all, general translation: Nani nani fu fu. What do you think of that, stoopid Habs fans?

OK.
