OK that sounds dirty BUT that is essentially what people will be doing at Park Middle-of-Nowhere-des Éperviers's outdoor rink next Tuesday. That's right, June 29th at 7pm, more accurately Notre-Dame-de-l'Île-Perrot, Five Hole for Food rolls into the outskirts of town with hopes of collecting much needed food for the NDG Food Depot! I will be doing everything humanly and inhumanly possible to drag myself and my gear out there and hoping it doesn't rain as that would suck. (Scattered showers are in the forecast).To give you an indication of how big the Montreal area is, well, the park is 25 minutes from my home or a good 40 minutes from my work (which is Place Ville-Marie). Bring your sherpa guide, or google maps, and as much non-perishable food items as you can carry. There's apparently a hockey stick signed by Nos Canadiens to be won as well. Post game food will be a delicious party at Boston Pizza (Vaudreuil). You have no idea how much I love that Spicy Perogy pizza...
