Habs 4, Whalerjerks 1: Go East young men

Start like you look like you're already on vacation. Lose Pacioretty to some douche who can't play defence and shoves him into the goal post. Get down 1-0. Suck around for a bit. Rely on Price to bail you out continuously. Magically pull game out of your asses.

Formula!

Ryan White is hot. Desharnais discovered he can score goals when he's not dishing to Pacioretty. Rene Bourque looked interested. Gionta with the best wrap around on an empty netter I've seen. Another 30+ shots saved. Ho hum.

And it only took an in-game 40 minute warm up.

Alright. Let's get these Olympics on. No worries, Team USA. Pacioretty will be fine in the morning, if not in an hour.
To Russia!

Habs 5, Sens 4 (OT): Difficult decisions?

Carey Price was on his way to seeing another of his fine performances melt into the loss column when Jared Cowen decided to be Jared "mouth agape" Cowen and punted a rebound off Plekanec's second oddly successful breakaway into the net. Overtime, PK Subban saved Therrien's job.

Bergervin was reported to have met Price after the game to congratulate him and thank him from preventing him from having to make "difficult decisions". And we're all sitting here yelling NO PLEASE DO SOMETHING FIX IT! Fuck, man. CALL SOMEONE UP. I don't know what the number graphs were talking about but there was now way in hell this game was in favour of the Habs. We were Leafing It. And come Saturday when the Habs play the Leafs, we'll get to see who can Leaf It better.

I fear the Universe might implode.

But maybe, like always, Therrien will get a deja-vu and find himself back on RDS spouting nonsense about PK's genuinely exuberant game winning goal celebrations. Because that seems to happen all the time. Leafs get coaches fired, and not just their own coaches.

Habs 4, Whalershitheads 5 (OT): Send more booze

I hope you choke on your champagne, Hassenfucker.

The Whalercanes spent an entire period worth on the powerplay, and the crowd had the nerve of chanting REF U SUCK when they gave their little fucker of an angel Eric Staal an actual penalty and an extra for being a bitch. Some of the calls were real, most of them were garbage. I think my favourite was Lars Eller's solid backcheck where he shouldered the guy off the puck and on his ass that somehow turned into a tripping penalty even though there was no stick nor feet near the guy's lower regions. Actually my favourite was the extra 5-on-3 the Whalercanes were gifted because the little princess in the stripes got his feelings hurt.

And then there was the poor coaching decisions. Let me see, PK on the ice: good stuff happens! Emelin, Bouillon, Diaz on the ice, GOALS AGAINST HAPPEN because they got their heads up their asses and aren't even looking in the right direction. Why the second those two came out in OT, the game ended. Good job, asshole. Except I fear what this team will trade to get better...

The only reason this team got a point here was because of Carey Price and a goal by PK. Actually I feel completely comfortable in claiming they might have even gotten a point, or hell even WON, if Price played the Panthers. I hope Fucale is watching because that shitshow he was backing up in Sweden earlier today ain't NOTHING compared to the garbage he'll have to deal with once he makes the NHL with this team...

This team doesn't deserve Price. Neither do most of the "fans" of these team either.

Go away, 2013. No one liked you.

Habs 0, Rangers 1: Was the party that great in Columbus?

I know Desharnais scored the shootout winner last night to win the game in Columbus but did you guys over-celebrate it or what? Yea I'd probably save the champagne for when he scores a goal with other players on the ice, as opposed to the CLEAR EVERYONE version.

Sigh. Another wasted Carey Price effort. Another loss. And right now, the play of Rene Bourque has me pinning for Benoit Pouliot. IT'S THAT BAD!

Only goal support he's going to get.

Habs 0, Sharks 1.5: I have pie edition

My saving grace is that I have pumpkin pie. I win.

- Someone please save us from Desharnais.
- Bell Center needs to fix it's fucking glass.
- Stop saying Price needs to stay in his net. You love it when he doesn't and the Habs get the puck out of the zone quicker. He's a huge key to that transition.
- Zone entry works how?
- Felt like Habs were on the penalty kill all game.
- Joe Thornton left his friend in his pocket, thank god.
- If Eller's line played all game, things might have been less annoying.
- Travis Moen needs someone to put the fucking visor on for him. That was VERY close to his eye.
- Logan Couture has giant front teeth. He might be part rodent.
- I'm very annoyed at Diaz. I'm very annoyed at Diaz on the penalty kill.
- In games like these you must UNLEASH THE PERNELL KARL! Let him take the puck coast to coast! Let him create! And damn the consequences!
- Quote of the night:

Positives schmositives. Moral victories still signify no two points.

Habs 1, Perds 2: EMBEZZLEMENT

Tonight's officiating crew.

The truth is out. And people called us paranoid. People called us ridiculous. Well, where are those people now?!

- Seriously. PK skates down the ice with Nystrom on his back who finally pulls him down and the ref calls a hold and dive.
- Instead of "embellishment" (which was ass over fuck you crazy), the ref calls it "embezzlement".
- Freudian slip! Check his ProLine!
- Perds went nuts when they scored a goal that basically bounced off Prust and Gorges on the end of a 5-on-3.
- I was sure they were going to call another penalty on PK for "skating with the puck", or "attempting to cause offense", or "existing".
- Shooting the puck over the glass like a boss. The ghost of Roman Hamrlik has come to haunt us.
- Gorges gets a blindside hit to the head, no call. Briere gets a leaping hit to his head without the puck, no call. Not even interference. But Tinordi be damned if he battles on the boards with someone!
- The 18-year-old Seth Jones is trusted more by his coach in all situations than 24-year-old NORRIS TROPHY WINNER PK Subban is by his own coach. Think about that for a second or five.
- Gaustad still goes after smaller guys, pisses his pants when Tinordi comes to say hi.
- Markov forgot how can haz hold blue line.
- Half the team looked like they were stickhandling with telephone poles. Which caused Jones' goal to happen, Moen.
- Rinne nearly did a Bernier.
- The only players that showed up really were Price and the Eller line. Guess who scored for the Habs? The Eller line. Twice.
- Except the ref at the goal pointing at the net calling the second one a goal was overturned by 3 guys at the other end of the ice. And apparently the call on the ice stands, just not on this ice.
- Price continues his trend of posting ridiculous save percentages against the Perds and losing.
- This team doesn't know what to do when forechecked. Especially Diaz.
- They pull Price for the extra man, but considering how shitty the power play was all game I don't know why they even bothered.
- Also they broke the rounded glass. I thought for certain they'd make 25 seconds into another 5 minutes...
- I guess we can play with broken glass now.
- Shockingly didn't give up the empty netter no matter how hard they tried.

Considering how shitty Briere was playing, I wanted Leblanc up in his spot for various reasons. One, he's actually playing as a winger. Two, Lefebvre is once again wasting our time and sabotaging his by putting him with a grinder and a facepuncher. And three, he can probably skate more, do more, want more than what Briere is showing us. That said they probably won't even call him up. They'll probably call up Dumont for whatever reason. With Briere and Prust probably out now, maybe they'll call both...

Also can we please just keep Brolieu up? That 2nd powerplay unit is SHIT.

Habs 2, Sens 3 (OT): MONSOOOOON

They had the game in the bag despite the usual Tim Peel shitshow. While I didn't think the Zibanenoonepronouncesyournamerightanywayjad's goal was enough to be called kicked in, there was a guy in the crease who interfered too much with Price to get him set back to save his team from an end of period of fail and that's probably where he was hurt. I saw enough of a tug in the wrong direction to think it was a problem, and when he moved on the final save he probably aggravated it.

Don't look now but Gonchar and Karlsson are still going for those two "icing" calls. The rest of the team are all back in the dressing room.

Oh and right now, Bourque, Pleky and Ryder should feel like high holy SHIT for floating around that empty net and even allowing that final sequence happen. Especially now that Price is injured.

And you can't really blame Budaj. The guys in front of him were just standing around. In OT. NOT THE BEST PLAN.

I also have to question once again Therrien's bench management. The only reason that maybe kicked-in goal happened was because he had the wrong people on. Halpern should have been there to backup Desharnais on the faceoff. Instead Gallagher was forced to take it and lost (duh). Also Galchenyuk scores and got benched for it.

Well, it's gonna be FANTASTIC when they end the series here at home. May as well. Now with Prust and Price hurt. They've tried hard enough. These playoffs were gravy after a 15th place finish in a transition year where they somehow managed to fight to first. It'll make them better.

Unless of course Therrien still benches Galchenyuk after he scores and doesn't let PK play the PK next season...

To make myself feel better, I'll laugh at the Canucks. At least we won a fucking game DESPITE the injuries. Last I looked, Canucks are quite healthy, just...mostly invisible.

If you don't like watching the Canucks fail at life, he's a cute photo of Toaster and his new toy to make you happy.

Habs 3, Flyers 5: Outeverything

Is there really that much to talk about?

Sure why not. Everyone not named Carey Price, stay here while I slap you. We have some rules when facing the Flyers...

Rule 1.
NEVER. EVER. EVER. ENGAGE WILLFULLY IN A FIGHT. Especially you, Moen. You could barely skate to reach a puck, you think you can take Wayne Simmonds? LOLS! For one I can't wait to hear the endless "Flyers took the momentum after those two fights" instead of "Habs stopped skating and deflected pucks into their own net giving the other team life".

Rule 2.
It's Bryzgalov. SHOOT THE FUCKING PUCK. Exhibit A: Desharnais' shot he ducked out on. Once that went in, Habs decided--on the rare occurrence they managed to get over the blue line--to do the fancy cute drop passes instead of stepping on the throats of a down and out team that just lost their momentum after that putrid goal.

Rule 3.
Well you were pretty good on the penalty kill but holy shit fuckballs STOP IT.

Rule 4.
When the Flyers outwork you for what should be an icing (Bouillon) don't back up, don't stand around, pressure the puck, HIT SOMEONE, and never ever EVER stand in front of your goalie facing the wrong way with your ass in the air. Hell if you're not blocking the shot, get the fuck off the ice. And yes, I'm still fucking pissed Bergevin rushed to sign Bouillon up for next season, who's been useless and outplayed by every random rookie and now newcomer Davis Drewiske. He'd be the next Press Box Man if he weren't Therrien's boy...

We leave this game in shame. Yes, shaaaaaaame. I can take loses. I cannot stand games like this where they just stand around and don't even help Price out much. In fact they hindered him because 3 goals went bouncing off skates and one went off the backboards to the backdoor guy no one picked up while he was screened and couldn't get over fast enough. The only reason this wasn't a blow out like that Pens-Rangers game is because we have him instead of Fleury... I'm told Switzerland's Women's team had more shots in the last two periods of their game against Canada, and they lost 13-0! One whole shot in the 3rd. When you throw 4 shots in the 2nd and TWO are goals, you think that would inspire you to fire on all cylinders? And you gave up the empty netter. And to cap off this shit, we lost Pleky to a day-to-day groin injury. And then Patches went down late in the 3rd to an ankle injury.

Just hope that sweater Bryzgalov knitted in the 3rd period is actually nice.

Habs 5, Islanders 2: The pattern

This is what happens when you skate into Brad Boyes' ass.

This team's formula is probably first period (pile it on) -  second period (take a break) + third period (world beaters) = success! That or they're just bored and want to challenge themselves by fucking themselves over. I don't care where they are in the standings. If they can blow this game and only manage 2 powerplay goals on Poulin they deserve an F.

But hey, let's ignore all the bad stuff and praise that third period right?

Hey Islanders?
- Move already.
- So sick of radio hosts holding up Price's stats in Long Island. Did it ever occur to you just how SHIT the team plays there as a whole? He was great tonight and they could have easily lost the game anyway. Mostly because it's like there's no defence when they come here...
- Islanders repeatedly came screaming down the ice 3 guys wide and the Habs did nothing to counter it.
- I was waiting for them to pull out the Flying V.
- But hey, at least the penalty kill was spot on tonight.
- Or at least Price was on that second period kill...
- I will not survive an extra year of Frankie Bou backing up instead of closing the gap between himself and say John Tavares.
- Every time Matt Carkner takes a blatant penalty he turns around and bitches to the ref about it.
- PK Subban: Two goals bitches~! Now up to 9 with 22 points in 24 games. Maybe you should work on THAT contract instead of Frankie Bou...
- Yes Drew Doughty finally scored a goal.
- Hey Desharnais, it's amazing what happens once you extract your head from your arse eh?
- Gionta has somehow managed to quietly collect 10 goals on the year.
- If I could, I'd have a team of Ellers and Gallaghers.
- Good job putting the puck in your own net, Islanders. Gally thanks you.
- With 5 minutes left, the Islanders started diving up and down the ice. Of course the dive they called was a dumb one.
- Thumbs up to taking a penalty with 3 minutes left.

In the end, I don't know whether to applaud or line you all up and slap you.

The curtain rises, and Les Glorieux fall 2-1 to the Blue Foliage

Snow fell gently on a city brimming with excitement. They're back! Les Glorieux have finally been released from the dark shackles Count Bettman forced upon them. Half a season in the dark. The men scattered about the globe, some like mercenaries lending their abilities to whomever would have them, some returning to their homelands for work. Many played for charities, reminding us that no matter how high on the pedestal they rest they still remain fine upstanding citizens.

And down to the city center of sport. The Legends passed the torch, calling us to a new season. The team was joined by a bright young newcomer, the young prince Alex Galchenyuk. Tonight he would make his debut with his family watching, as Les Glorieux would fight the Blue Foliage of Toronto. A new era was beginning.

But the contest looked the same as years past. The warriors were sloppy, the defenders somewhat unsure. Missing was the fantastic young PK Subban, without question the team's best defender and future bright star but still without his contract and unable to join. The gritty muckers pounced the Keeper of the Blue Foliage, and got penalized for it. One after another, another penalty, another penalty. For most of the game, not much happened. Young Galchenyuk showed us his fantastic shot, but not much else went right for the team. We can be thankful for the work of the Keeper Price. Despite a minor tweak in his leg he was fantastic. Especially considering he was hunting coyotes only a few weeks ago. And yet despite his fantastic performance, the powers above neglected him a game star.

However Les Glorieux fell short by 1, with the Blue Foliage besting them by 2. In the first contest of the season there is much work to be done. Meanwhile the Blue Foliage are probably planning their parade already...

A quick glance around the League:
- Tthe Kings raised their crown, but fell to the Blackhawks 5-2.
- The Jets were grounded by the Senators 4-1.
- The Capitals were bewildered by Lightning 6-3.
- The Panthers chased Keeper Cam Ward and blew out the Hurricanes 5-1.
- The Winged Wheel are currently desperately trying to convince their retired captain to return as they were blasted 6-0. And Keeper Jaro made a mere 14 saves in total.
- It's currently 6-2 for the Mighty Ducks over the Canucks. Keeper Schneider was pulled in favor of Keeper Luuuuuu.

NOW WHAT?

Save this picture, for you'll never see his crease THIS clear.
Apparently Carey Price has a concussion. That or annoying headaches. Either way, he might not play in any of the remaining 3 games and most likely won't be at the World Championships.

They say it happened in practice last week, which means he played with it.

Personally I think all the facepalming he's done this year while trying to work behind CaKa for defence has finally caught up to him. I know they give ME migraines...

GET WELL CAREY! WE NEED YOU!

Habs 2, Panthers 3 (SO): Yo

Really. What is it with this team and not being able to really give much of a damn to beat the fucking Florida Panthers? Or Scott fucking Clemmensen? I probably wouldn't be so pissed off with this loss if the god damn stupid blind linesman saw Sean Bergenheim was two-feet offside before Samuelsson sent a shot through Blunden and tied it up. Then again the linesman wasn't even in position. Either DO your fucking job or get off the fucking ice.

And yet somehow these guys are able to see offsides at fullspeed or with pucks flying through the air...

It was the Carey Price show for most of the game. Rinse, repeat. His record against the Panthers is considered a losing one but his stats against them is beyond insane. Games like this, usually 2-1 losses, or getting shut out. It's frankly criminal.

Much like it's criminal for Erik Cole to get his 31st goal...and no playoffs. Again.

Anyway, at least we had THIS. Steady Freddy with an incredible pass to Louis Leblanc, creating a 3-on-0. You can't deny the fact that when Louis scores goals, despite being a yo-yo rookie, he sure scores them pretty.

So apparently the Leafs lost today and were officially eliminated. Getting shutout by the Canes at home sent them tumbling down to 14th. Habs wave and say "'Sup".

Habs 0, Sabres 3: We graciously serve you a shot at the playoffs...

...just so we can watch you lose in Round 1 or 2 as per usual.

Probably the best moment of this game was when a ladybug attacked the image of Tim Peel on my TV just after he tossed Patches out of the game for yelling at him. You are the best ladybug ever. (For some reason my apartment is mysteriously infested by ladybugs, which I usually find dead the next day).

Best Habs tonight: Price, Blunden, PK. Bourque also reasonable game but with Stormtrooper aim. Felt like he gave up after a while though. Also while everyone bitches how no one went after Myers for concussing Gomez (even though he was suspended for it), Ryan White let's us know he asked Myers twice to go. Obviously someone told Myers to not get involved in that stuff. Other than that, what? You expect them to javelin throw Desharnais at him or something?

And fuck the Crapnucks. This is why I didn't want Hodgson in the fucking East you idiots.

Eight more games left of Campoli. Eight. More. Games. That's just depressing. Also depressing to know the boys have THREE fucking back-to-back games to end the season. Well hey even the NHL schedule maker wants us to have Grigorenko.

Here's a cute picture of Toaster to make y'all feel better.

Habs 1, Leafs 3: I can hear the sighs from here...

Thirty minutes does not make a hockey game, guys. I can hear Price sighing from here. Even in this loss his save percentage actually gets better. Which means DO YOUR FUCKING JOBS, GUYS. Not even going to waste my time bitching about Ca-Ka again...

It's too bad because that was a lovely fan-made mask for Price for the yearly contest. Last fan-mask I think the Habs were shutout 3-0...

Oh and Erik Cole is awesome but I think y'all know that. Also I think Staubitz was whistling while he was fighting.

But you know what? I'm cool with this right now. Well no I HATE it when they lose to the Leafs... Mostly I'm so bouncing off the walls happy to announce that I got myself a puppy! YES! My own puppy! And a friend for Ziggy when we got visit. (Well he'll have to go to my parents house a few times a week anyway since my dad's retired and I'm at work). It was kind of a spur of the moment thing. My mom told me about these gorgeous dogs at Nature (where we got Ziggy). I wanted to see them. Seriously fell in love with the little guy. He was all kinds of cuddles and love! Initially I was interested in the Cockaliers that were there. (Oh my god they were so beautiful). But I kept going back to this little guy... He's a Teckel-Chihuahua and will only be about 8 pounds max. I think he might be smaller though. As of now he's only 4 months old. Seems to play well with other dogs and apparently loves the cats too.

When we left, he was cuddling his big brother. They know they'll be leaving each other soon. The lady told me his brother was sold a half hour before I got there, so at least they both have homes now!

I'm going to name him Toaster.

He started taking a nap on my mom's shoulder
Since Pleky died, it's been real quiet in here. I can't wait to bring the little guy home... My mom says he's the size of a guinea pig. So right now I'm busy puppy proofing my apartment, which is also a great excuse to clean out the place big time. Seriously freaking out though because I don't know where I'm going to put his cage... I think my room might be the only place.

Habs 1, Sabres 3: Go back to your All-Star break

So Price spent a weekend charming the world, getting scored on for fun, and partying in Hull (and maybe in Ottawa before 1am), returns to Montreal, has a day off Monday while his teammates have a full 2pm practice, comes to the Bell Centre tonight...and stands on his head like he never spent 4 days partying.

What a terrible waste of an All-Star performance by his teammates. His only reward was first star honors to flip signed pucks to the fans.

And of course in a one-goal game, they pull him for the extra man, and give up the empty net to that fuckwit troll Kaleta of all people.

I think Miller's crease needs to be mopped up from all that drool as he took a 60 minute nap.

Meanwhile, Paul Gaustad is a prick. After the final siren, he asked Patches (who scored his 18th goal) where Chara was. Gorges and Darche were about ready to jump on him but the refs got in the way. And we gave Gaustad a 3rd star too for his lucky goal (his 5th)... Guessing that was non-fan voted as an automatic by the veto man behind the scenes. Asswipe. In a game you just won 3-1, tied in the bottom of the barrel with the Habs? And you do that? Big strong man--the same man who did nothing while his goalie got run--hiding safely behind the fact the game was over and the refs were holding Gorges back?

Hey Gaustad, where's Lucic?

I'm not posting a cute animal picture tonight. Instead I'm posting the video of Emelin's latest BOOM victim. Only because it was Pominville.

DESTROYED!

Habs 2, Sens 3 (SO): "Losers" get loser point

Tough to watch a group of guys with a thin veil of confidence work so hard and come up short. I've seen enough Sens games this year to know when the Habs actually (rarely) scored with Price pulled for the extra man to tie it up what the outcome would be in overtime. Usually it's Spezza. He actually missed. Alfredsson is 4-for-4 in shootouts.

For what it's worth, Bourque is apparently pretty good in shootouts.

After the game Price said he believed they deserved better (which is true) but is tired of using that excuse. Right now he's not really sure what to say anymore. And what do you want him to say? We're out of excuses, and out of ideas. Just gotta keep chipping away.

Budaj gets the call tomorrow against the Rangers.

I will now post a really cute animal after every loss. Today's loss brings us a Red Panda!

Habs 2, BJs 3 (SO): Did better than my prediction...

...because I told my brother that they'd get shutout. By Curtis Sanford.

I don't know what Martin was thinking this whole game because nothing makes sense anymore. For one, Louis Leblanc played a little under 5 minutes. And in those 5 minutes he had 1 shot and 1 hit. Considering the Habs barely had 10 shots on net by the 3rd period? Would it hurt to play him? And Pacioretty wasn't on the powerplay. I agree with putting AK46 there, but do you remove your LEADING GOAL SCORER?! It's hockey not rocket science.

Terribly flat against the crap of the West in one week? Wunderbar. The fact they even got a point was miraculous.

Enough of that shit. Let's talk about something happy.

Alexei Emelin had 9 hits, 2 shots, assisted with his first NHL point on the game tying goal and played 22 minutes. He got hit with a high stick and the ref ignored it so what did he do? Waited for his shot, saw the puck, and SLAMMED the guy into the boards harder.

So tell me... Are Emelin 74 shirts available at the shop yet?

Habs 3, Sharks 4 (SO): Like night and day

Valiant effort. Price stood on his head and had the giggles. It kept his teammates lose. But blink with a little under 2 minutes left in the 3rd and boom, you're going to OT.

Considering the Sharks were the better team on the ice, Habs couldn't afford to blink.

As mentioned on RDS, perhaps the team gets TOO comfy knowing Price is back there. He could very well steal games, and with the absolute onslaught the Sharks had on him he really was. But hey, shit happens. Don't miss your fucking assignments. Especially when you've got a goal and 2 assists on the night.

All in all, Emelin was an absolute beast all night. Even when he screwed up you couldn't help but forgive him. Plus his hit on a Joe Pavelski who thought he was well in the clear to go straight to the net. I think he'll remember that one. Was also cute watching him dust the snow he piled on Price as he stopped in his face.

Eventful night for Weber is being kind. But Diaz played over 27 minutes. That's more than anyone on either team, including he-who-plays-30-minutes-standard Dan Boyle, Pickles, and Burns. Insane minutes for a shaky start and I still think our pretty Swiss Mister needs to go to Hamilton for some work, but considering he's basically been thrown into the fire it ain't so bad.

I also hope Louis' parents were able to go to this game too. Got about 14 minutes of ice time, made two huge blocks and set up Eller for what could have been the game winner if Eller could have hit it instead of bobbling the pass to his backhand right into Niemi's glove. He was even on the ice to bring the game to OT, and was out there in OT! That's just great. I applaud the coaching staff for finally doing something right.

We can all bitch about the weird choices for the shootouts (Moen?!) but who cares. Sharks were basically rolling their All-Star Team... Marc Denis is quick to point out how goals are being scored low-blocker side. Well genius, that's the fucking sweet spot for shootouts and if the Habs had any shooters capable of going there, they'd probably be better at the killjoy crapshoot skills comp instead of trying to be too fancy only to hit the post (hi Cammy!). Did you know Ryan Clowe is 2 for 2? Price did a chicken dance at him before he managed to get his blocker on the shot. But Havlat with no defence? Yea that's going in. Handzus? Dude's got the words "hands" and "Zeus" in his name. Pavelski? Hell ya. Be glad he managed to stop Clowe, Boyle, Couture... Those 3 alone usually win you the game.

Anyhoo, enough of that. Hope they bring this type of game against the Kings. And I hope they remember to backcheck with 2 minutes left...

Habs 1, Flyers 3: Bunch of turkeys...

We didn't need to see this game for we've seen this so many times before: Habs come out to a rather fine first period, get a goal from a rare fourth liner, then sucks massively for the next two periods.

Habs can give thanks to Carey Price that the score was a respectable 3-1 loss. With t\he amount of breakaways he had to stop in the 2nd, game should have been 5-1 for the Flyers...

- Ditch the 1-2-2 when you're in need of offense. I'm tired off seeing Eller in against 4 players desperately looking for help.
- You finally put PK out first in the powerplay but STILL keep Pleky on the point, making the powerplay completely POINTLESS.
- Getting outshot 18 to 5 in the 2nd even though Habs had 3 consecutive powerplay opportunities...
- Our scorers can't shoot, let alone score...
- But hey that penalty kill is PERFECT!

On the radio broadcast, I love how progressively annnoyed and angry Bobby Dollas gets as the Habs progressively get suckier in the game. He doesn't mince words.

Tick. Tock. The season is slowly slipping away...

Habs 0, Bruins 1: Idiots

So let's talk about that powerplay...

Remember last game I said how Pleky scoring on the point would only mean he'll remain there until I lose all my marbles? Well doing fuck all on a 4 minute powerplay wasn't enough of a sign, how about with a 6-on-4...and the point is Weber and *drumroll* Pleky.

Never mind this was PK Subban's 100th game.

Never mind LOADING up on Weber and PK would give you two awesome shots.

Never mind that PK absolutely LIVES for these moments.

Was it that long ago? No. It was only last fucking year that this happened:

SO WHY CAN'T YOU GET IT THROUGH YOUR MORON COACH HEADS!!!?

As for the rest of you, when you follow Erik Cole put your fucking sticks on the fucking ice and be ready for rebounds. Unbelievable how slow their brains looked tonight.

- Great game by Emelin, who ran over anything that came near him.
- Great game by Cole, who was pissed off at the lack of offensive support he saw around him.
- Good game by Gomez save for his weakass backcheck on that one goal. (Delayed penalty for what I have no idea).
- Didn't stop L'Antichambre from opening with their new "Bash Gomez Intro" while comparing his game to...Crosby?!
- Price just sighs and goes about his job wondering if this team will ever be consistently trying to win.
- Cammy played like a wet noodle and shot the puck like one too. Fawn over Timmeh all you want, I could make those saves...
- I swear I saw Gio yawn, and then Chara yawned right after. That kind of game.
- There was a fight in the stands by the bench that had more emotion than these two teams did. I wonder if it was an angry fan trying to get at Martin for NOT PUTTING PK (or Cole for that matter) ON A 6-ON-4 TO MAYBE GET AN IMPORTANT POINT. Or maybe it was Dickie Moore.

Wake up, Habs. In your next game, Carolina actually plays good at home. Fuck around for 60 minutes and consistently play like this and you don't deserve to make the playoffs. (But I'll be happy to hear you take Grigorenko in the draft). I think the only bright side is Crosby's return and a zillion points in one game will cover up the Habs nicely.

I'm going to dive back into Skyward Sword now. After I happily devour a red velvet cupcake. Comfort food...
