So today, pending a new contract after being given his QO, Rrrrrryan Rrrussell was traded to the Blue Jackets for Michael Blunden. I'm happy Rrrrrryan joins his twin brother, but I'll still miss him.
As for Blunden? Well, anyone who makes Jimmy Howard look silly is awesome to me.
Also signed 33-year-old veteran Brian Willsie, who scores the type of mucker goals we all need and love. Apparently he lives 15 minutes away from Copps Coliseum and decided it was better for him there than with the Hershey Bears. He scored 30 goals with them last year. It's his belief that regardless how difficult the decision was to leave Da Bears that he has a better chance at a call up with the Habs than with the Caps (according to the depth chart). Usually scores that important game tying goal too. Was with the Kings when Cammy and TK were there.
