They tried. They really tried. In the end, they couldn't do it on the backs of Gomez and Gio alone.
Here's to next season and hopefully a non-idiocy filled summer. May Pierre Gauthier not screw this team up.

My first thoughts after the elimination were about the summer, and whether we would see Gauthier make some good decisions. You know I have no great love for how Gainey managed this team.
It will be interesting to be sure.

Alex, a smart GM would keep them both (unless Jaro's idiot agent screws it up, frankly I'm sick of Agent Twit). This is the type of team that needs two healthy and capable goalies, and frankly, they're cheap.
