KLUBERTANZ!
Hey Don Cherry, I dare you to pronounce his last name. I wonder what he would come up with... Clubbertank?
So while most of us are still drowning in our sorrows over the fate of the Habs, and now the fate of the Bulldogs (OMG that hurt and I'm so upset I DON'T WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT *sob*), Mr. Gauthier was actually doing some work and signed Kyle Klubertanz, another 24-year-old offensive defenseman project for the year. He'll probably go to Hamilton. Hey, he did manage to get 12 goals and 19 assists in the Swedish Elite League last year (if you don't know, it's not easy to score in that league). Wonder why a 3rd round pick of the Ducks ran off to Sweden to play for two years... After falling off the depth chart, maybe he didn't want to wear a pig on his jersey in Iowa or get tossed on some random team that might not need him only to bury him in the ECHL or some other random lower tier league (like poor Pogge).
He was also a Badger for four years!
He also has a lot of penalty minutes... Hmm...
Hockey's Future has him listed as a fiesty, smooth-skating blueliner with great puckmoving skills and a chip on his shoulder.
Clubbertank it is.

cherry couldn't get Ed Mio's name right.
I wonder how he would pronounce my last name... Probably would just give up after the first letter.
